Designing marketing materials can be both a fun and tedious activity. And, when different companies want different sizes and specifications, authors new to the industry may find this creative experience frustrating.
Rachael has put together some handy templates you can download free of charge to help you create suitably sized marketing materials including bookmarks, posters, banners and business cards.
Simply upload these templates to your programme of choice (the best free ones Rachael has found are Canva and GIMP), and design over them. Then, all you have to do is delete the template underneath everything.
In this post, Rachael shares her bookmark template, plus the platform she uses to print the CCB bookmarks.
Your bookmark design is a 550x200 pt (or 55x173 cm) rectangle, and it's important to keep anything important such as text away from the edges.
CCB bookmarks are printed with stressfreeprint.co.uk, and has always been happy with the quality and price.
To keep costs lower (and to leave a space for you to sign and personalise a bookmark), consider printing one-sided with a matte or semi-gloss finish.
