Monthly Meow: November, Pt2

Curious Cat Books Launches New Website!

I'm so excited to announce the launch of a brand new website, aimed to help new authors and, of course, promote those currently signed to my imprint. Until this month, curiouscatbooks.co.uk pointed to this website (erachaelhardcastle.com) and my services and publishing information could all be found in one place.

However, I decided it's time for a change! I've now launched www.curiouscatbooks.co.uk as an independent site from my author page, meaning if you're looking for editing, formatting, design or publishing services, you can find all this (and more) over there. If you're looking for my books or to chat with me as an author (rather than as a publisher), stick with the site you're currently on.

The Curious Cat Books website will also show you how to submit a book if you're interested in publishing with me. You can find details of the books and authors currently available, and check out a gallery displaying their event photos and more.

There's also a live chat facility if you have a quick question or concern. Go ahead and check it out!

Pssst, I'm also now producing content for a blog aimed at new and struggling authors, just like my brand new book, The Universe Doesn't Give A Sh*t About Your Book. Go there now to check out the first post, which talks about modelling the actions and behaviour of other writers.

BOOK LAUNCH - 30/11/2019

It's finally here in hardback and e-book! The Universe Doesn't Give A Sh*t About Your Book launches on the 30th, and I was overwhelmed with the pre-order figures and general interest. Thank you so much for your support, everyone.

I hope it helps someone, somewhere, with their book.

You can purchase the hardback through your favourite retailer now, or head over to Amazon to grab a Kindle copy.

Grab a discounted copy of Finding Pandora: The Complete Collection on Amazon Kindle for just £4.99. That's all four books in the series in one easy download.

HURRY, this offer won't last long. BUY HERE.

WHSmith Harrogate

On November 16th 2019, my co-author David and I set up at Harrogate WHSmith for a book signing. We were thrilled to meet everyone and were made to feel welcome (as always) by the WHSmith staff. I also got the chance to meet another children's author and chat about a book she's been working on this year.

As you can see from the first image, I also had a print copy of 'The Universe Doesn't Give A Sh*t About Your Book' on display!

Children In Need

This month, Pamela A. Pedder raised £36 for Children In Need at her Morcambe book signing. The Welcome Cafe hosted Pamela and together they sold tons of books—well done, Pamela!

Pamela gained the permission of those featured in these photographs for their use on this newsletter. Thank you to everyone who visited her and bought a book for a worthy cause.

Pamela's New Website!

I'm excited to share Pamela A. Pedder's new website with everyone. Although Pamela's Berty Bee books are listed on my website, Pamela now has a bright space of her own to keep her readers updated. You can click HERE to check that out and offer your support.

Alternatively, you can now follow and 'like' her Facebook page HERE.

Facebook Live

On November 20th 2019, I braved the camera for the first time in a LONG while, to talk about some of your frequently asked questions when it comes to the indie publishing world. Though (as you can tell), I've been battling a nasty cold for a few weeks now, I think I managed to answer your queries it in the end!

Peter's New Website!

Peter Kay's new website is also now up and running! Peter's travel memoir, 'Show Me the Way to Santiago' will be released through Curious Cat Books in 2020. You can click HERE to check itout and offer your support.

Broadway, Bradford WHS!

Pamela A. Pedder braved the Black Friday/Cyber Monday crowds on 30/11/2019 in Bradford's WHSmith to meet her local readers. Pamela did so well, and sold copies of both Moving Day and The Queen's Visit, accompanied by her illustrator, Chris Moss.

& that's it for this month. Check back in December when we'll have plenty of Christmas updates.

See you soon.
